Recommended by my Vietnamese good friend and foodie for this relatively new haunt, a Korean Mexican fusion restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City.

Korean Inspired Tacos (1 for 60k, 3 for 165k, 6 for 300k VND)

We ordered a total of 9 tacos (there’s a promotion running that day, scroll below for it) for our group of 3.

Out of the 9 tacos we only tried 3 of their 6 flavors: Kalbi Shredded Beef, Chipotle Pork Shoulder, and Spicy Gochujang Chicken.

To me I think it’s tasted ok, decent try for the Korean Mexican fusion but nothing outstanding for these 3 tacos.

I feel they could give more amount of ingredients, for a fuller bite and flavors. But I think I’m more accustomed to the traditional taco style with lots of cilantro, onions, and salsa.

Chips & Salsa (95k VND)

Standard snack, so not going into ratings.

Pineapple Mango Margarita with Tay Ninh Chili Prawn Salt on the rim (150k VND)

Decent Margarita, but I’m not one who drinks Margarita often, more of a Single Malt Whisky or Cognac drinker.

I like that they do give a choice of either an usual Sea Salt rim or Tay Ninh Chili Prawn Salt rim (which is a famous produce of Vietnam and my wife’s hometown is Tay Ninh), so do give a try if you want a Vietnamese twist to it.

Overall

There’s still so many different types of dishes other than tacos that we haven’t try, will try it in future if any of their other dishes will fare even better!

Environment

It’s a laid back environment but with loud music blasting in the background, if you just want to unwind after a long day with friends for snacks and drinks I think it’s pretty alright.

Not for those who want to chill in silent / relaxing music or want to have proper conversations with friends.

Promotions

If you follow their Facebook posts, they have various promotions throughout the week. During our visit we went on a “Taco Tuesday” promotion which have sales for the following:

  • 3 tacos for 125k (usual price 165k)

  • Glass of margarita for 125k (usual price 150k)

  • A free bowl of chips and salsa (usual price 95k)
(Went as a group of 3, but there’s still only one bowl of free chips and salsa for the entire group though…)

If you are a solo eater, I think it’s a pretty good value of 3 tacos and a bowl of chips and salsa all for yourself at a cost of 125k.
